Midwest GP Network assists practices to deliver a quality immunisation service in accordance with the National ‘Strive for 5’ standards.

The Network provides advice on a range of topics including the storage of vaccines, recall and register, cold chain and strategies to increase coverage rates. Regular updates are held covering changes in schedules, new vaccines and other Government Programs.

The Immunisation Certification Course was re-accredited in July 2010 and all registration forms are now administered by WA General Practice Network (WAGPN). If you are interested in doing this course, please send your registration form together with payment ($100 cheque payable to Department of Health) to WAGPN.

Registrations need to be received by WAGPN by the 10th of each month to commence on the 1st of the following month.

Please note:  Each registered course of study commences on the 1st of the month, with the allotment of a 5 week period to complete all learning modules. Prospective participants are encouraged to consider and plan in their study commitment prior to registering.

Participant numbers per month are limited. Late registrations for a nominated course cannot be accepted, so as to allow timely processing of applications and mailing of course materials.
