Midwest GP Network covers an area over almost 400,000 square kilometres. From Exmouth in the north, to Jurien in the south and inland to Meekatharra

Midwest GP Network - delivering local health solutions through general practice -

is a member of Australian General Practice Network. AGPN is the peak body representing 111 local organisations (Divisions) as well as eight state-based entities.

More than 90% of GPs and an increasing number of practice nurses and allied health professionals are members of their local Division.

The Network is involved in a wide range of activities including health promotion, early intervention and prevention strategies, chronic disease management, medical education and workforce support.

By delivering local health solutions through general practice, we aim to ensure all Australians can access a high quality health system.

Our first Obstetrics Breakfast for 2010 will take place on Tuesday 16th March 2010 at 7:30am, SJOG Training room.

Midwest GP Network and Smith & Nephew will present the "Wound Care Management" workshop with Geoff Duggan on Wednesday 17th March 2010 at 9:00am, CUCHR.

PEPA and Cancel Council of WA will present the "New Developments in Palliative Care" workshop with Dr Derek Eng on Thursday 18th March 2010 at 6:00pm, St John of God Training room.

Our next Post Graduate Talks presentation will be on the Friday 19th March 2010. Dr Marisa Gilles will present "Up coming flu season ".

Midwest GP Network and Ultra-Sounds Village will present the "Rural GP Focused Ultra Sounds" workshop with Dr Adrian Goudie at St John of God Training room on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st March 2010.

Midwest Allied Mental Health Counselling Service
Midwest GP Network’s employment of two additional psychologists will enable community members diagnosed with a mental illness who are located in the areas of the Midwest, Murchison & Gascoyne region, access to a psychological service.
